If you have ever marvelled at how the Singapore skyline has changed dramatically over the decades, we are proud to say we played a pivotal role in supporting partners who shaped it through our building materials unit, one of the two business units that make up HLA.

From Island Concrete’s blue-and-white batching plants and concrete trucks that were among the first in Singapore to Tasek’s quarries in Malaysia, we have been integral in providing the materials that laid the foundations for many key developments across both nations. In more recent years, our precast business, R3 Precast, has also become market leader, enabling Singapore’s transition to more efficient way of building.

In Singapore, our projects included the MRT system, Marina Bay Sands, and HDB flats, among many others, while in Malaysia, our projects included the Tun Razak Exchange, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and Vision City Nilai. We are proud of the role we played in building a better future for all.
